Lawn Bowls Club
The season for playing Lawn Bowls runs from the end of April through to the beginning of September. The club always wants new players to keep the sport alive in the village. It is not very physically challenging, therefore all ages can participate.
If anyone who can play wishes to join the club, or anyone who just wants to come along to see the game, or even new starters who may be interested in trying out the sport, please contact David Gibson 07930 182764 for further information.
South Creake Tennis Club
A family-friendly grass court club in the beautiful village of South Creake.
South Creake Tennis Club was founded in 1924 and is one of the very few grass-only clubs in the country.
The club's two courts are on the village playing field, near to the Memorial Pavilion where parking is available.
The courts are available for use by anyone in the community and visitors are welcome.
The playing season runs from 1st May to 30th September, weather permitting. Memberships and casual court hire are available, with everything handled online.
The club offers a summer programme of coaching for children and adults with LTA Level 3 coach Chris Sanders.
Thanks to grants from South Creake Charities and the Borough of King's Lynn and West Norfolk, all organised children's group coaching in 2020 (16s and under) was provided FREE.
We also acknowledge generous funding for equipment from Jack's Lane Windfarm Community Fund.
South Creake FC was re-established in 2006 after a nine-year period without a team in the village. Since 2006, the club competed in the North West Norfolk league and had some periods of success in that time, winning a league title, the league cup on two occasions and the Charlie Day cup.
In the Summer of 2020, the club was taken over by a new management team and committee, with some major changes taking place. The biggest change saw the club move from the North West Norfolk League for the first time in their history, to the Central & South Norfolk League.
Despite having to assemble almost an entire squad, they made a flying start to the season which was unfortunately cancelled because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Football Club is now in an extremely healthy position and hopes to go from strength to strength over the coming years, giving the local community a team to be proud of.
We are always looking to recruit new players and we are also looking to add a reserve team for the 2021/2022 season. If you are interested in joining the club or have any other questions, please contact Michael on 07538 863 891.
